Stories
I love to find and tell stories. During my career, I have done everything from cover small-town school board meetings to interview the President of the United States in the Oval Office. At Columbia Journalism School, I was privileged to help the next generation of journalists find and tell their own stories, and plan to continue that work through editing, teaching, and consulting.
My next new challenge is to tell the story of one of the greatest songwriters of our time, Carole King. My book Carole King: She Made the Earth Move will be published by Yale University Press in Fall 2025, as part of the Jewish Lives series of interpretive biographies.
